2010 Finalists for Small Business “Success” Awards

Ten local companies were selected as finalists for the Northern Kentucky Chamber’s Small Business “Success” Awards and were recognized at a special awards luncheon, Thursday, June 10, 2010. Applicants were required to be locally owned and operated for three or more full years, generate no more than $5 million in sales (up to $10 million for construction trades and manufacturing and distribution categories), and have fewer than 100 employees. The award is open to members of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and to all small businesses that meet the criteria in Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties.

“We were pleased with the quality and quantity of applications for the awards this year,” said Caroline Weltzer of Viox & Viox, chairwoman of the Small Business Celebration Committee. “Small businesses really are the engine that drives our local economy, and now more than ever, it’s appropriate that we recognize their contributions and impact.”

The finalists for the 2010 “Success” Awards were:

LeanCor, LLC (Service Category)
Northern Kentucky Montessori Center, Inc. (Non-profit Category)
Rudler & Associates, Inc. (Professional Service Category)
Van Gorder, Walker & Co., Inc. (Professional Service Category)
